What We Do

Our office provides general pediatric and adolescent medical care with additional emphasis on sports medicine, asthma management, allergy testing and treatment, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD), and behavioral problems. We provide routine newborn care, and we also specialize in the care of high-risk newborns and those who have had a serious early illness.

Our goal is to combine quality health care with personal consideration for the feelings and convenience of patients and their families. With each appointment, we take whatever time is necessary both for treatment of the medical condition and to fully inform and instruct parents and patients about the nature and treatment of the condition.

Sewickley Valley Pediatrics has been in practice for more than 50 years, serving the Sewickley, Wexford, Rochester and surrounding communities; a full “Circle of Care”.

Sewickley Valley Pediatrics is affiliated with Heritage Valley Sewickley, Heritage Valley Beaver, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Magee Women’s Hospital, and Quaker Valley School District.

Testimonials

A Few Words from Our Patients

“SVPAM was the best choice I could have made for my little girl. She always has a great experience, even on the bad days, because the staff makes her feel special and treats her as if she is the only patient in the office. Susan Pointer has become one of her favorite people in the world. She loves to see Susan and tell her all the big girl stuff she has accomplished thanks to her.”

Parent of SVPAM patient

“SVPAM is wonderful-I love all the Dr.’s and Nurse Practitioners I’ve seen. The office staff is friendly, upbeat and prompt. They do their best to get you in, seen and checked out within a reasonable amount of time. There’s 3 offices and they almost always have same day appointments available. The patient portal they offer is also great. I recently switch my child over to the practice and couldn’t be happier with my decision!”

SVPAM Parent

“I know my daughter is in safe hands with the Providers and Nursing Staff at SVP. I love that we have the ability to see our preferred provider, if we choose. (This was always an issue with our previous pediatricians office.) And the walk-in hours have been a nice addition! It allows some flexibility with those unexpected illnesses. Overall, GREAT environment!”
